From now on to January 9, 2025, tour guides can participate in the activity by posting videos that promote the most representative intangible cultural heritage projects in the three routes selected by Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism on Douyin, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, and WeChat Video Channel with the topic “Gold-medal Tour Guides Talk about Intangible Cultural Heritage”.
After the launch ceremony, gold-medal tour guides set off for the Rebala Scenic Area, Liye Ancient Town, and Bamian Mountain Scenic Area in Longshan County as well as Shawan Village in Baojing County to film videos about mysterious Xaingxi.

The Miao “Ganqiu Festival” has been inscribed on the UNESCO list of the intangible cultural heritage, and the Tujia Maogusi dance is known as the “living fossil of Chinese drama”.
The “Mysterious Xiangxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Tourist Route” has been listed as one of the 20 boutique intangible cultural heritage tourist routes in China. Xiangxi Prefecture is committed to promoting the deep integrated development of “culture plus tourism” and “culture plus technology”. Through promotion of gold-medal tour guides, intangible cultural heritage of Xiangxi will be inherited and spread so as to advance the development of Hunan’s all-for-one tourism.
